Blogging is fun.
Blogging can change your business.
Blogging can change your life.
Blogging is overwhelming.

Potentially, they all are. There are millions of blogs out here in cyberspace, but many are dormant, dying or dead. People start and stop. Companies put up a post or two and then get swept up in the daily grind that doesn’t include the love and care of a blog. The one thing that is definitely true is that you will get no more out of a blog than you put into it.

I believe that you can have a successful blog if you want one. I believe that it will be easier to get started and maintain if you spend time planning it. You need to know why you want to blog and who you want to reach. Then you can figure out the best way to do that.

I’ll be saying more about this at an event on Thursday at the Enterprise Center at Salem State, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. It’s free, and I promise it will be fun. At the very least you can laugh at my “creative” use of Power Point.
